ABOUT US

One of the largest family owned and run hotels in Devon located just minutes away from the county town of Exeter and the resorts of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham and set in 19 acres of woodland on the coast at Dawlish with expansive lawns and gardens overlooking the golden sandy beaches of Dawlish Warren. The Langstone Cliff Hotel in Devon, welcomed its first guests in the Spring of 1947, prior to that it was what the Victorians knew as a "Gentleman's Residence". The hotel is still a popular family holiday destination, especially during school holidays, but now also caters for Conferences, Meetings and weekend breaks, mid week breaks and short breaks all year round.

The Langstone Cliff Hotel presents a full christmas programme including both accommodation all meals and drinks on selected occaisions. The Christmas programme commences on the 22nd December with Cabaret in the evening by "Magic a Kind of Queen" A superb tribute act authentically reproducoing the sounds of Queen and Freddie Mercury. This is their 5th viit to the langstone or is it the Sixth? The 23rd December brings the Welcome Return of "At The Hop" this cabaret show band takes us back to the era of Bill Hailey and the Comets. Only the 3rd trip for these excellent entertainers. ACCOMODATION

The Hotel offers a variety of weekend and midweek breaks throughout the year with the "Langstone Special Weekends" proving especially popular. The Langstone Cliff Hotel is especially fortunate in having so many large public rooms overlooking the sea. Three exceptionally comfortable lounges means you can invariably find a quiet corner for a chat or even a snooze. One lounge houses a giant 50" Widescreen DLP TV set which manages to generate an almost "I was there" feeling for those momentous sporting or historic occasions. (Naturally there is also a set in your room if you prefer to view in private).Sky sports ia available in all rooms as well as on the Large Screen.
