A friendly welcome awaits you at our touring park, situated four miles north of Newquay on the B3276 coast road, designated by the National Trust as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The choice of beaches for you is endless; from a calm, secluded cove to the soaring cliffs and wide open stretches of sand that stand comparison with any in the world. The park is situated only a short walk from Watergate Bay (half a mile), and the size of the beach guarantees it is never overcrowded. In fact at low tide, the beach is two and a half miles long, with it possible to walk all of the way to Newquay.
There are also plenty of rock pools for the children to play in as well as designated safe swimming areas in the sea.
For the enthusiast, the Extreme Sports Academy is based at Watergate Bay, incorporating surfing, power kiting, buggying and kite surfing etc., with regular championship competitions, allowing you to participate or just dream.
The park is situated in beautiful countryside and is divided into separate enclosures. The pitches are individually marked out, ensuring there is no overcrowding. Each pitch has car access allowing you to park next to you tent or caravan.
Facilities on site include two new toilet/shower blocks, (both are centrally heated for early and late holidays), providing individual wash cubicles, baby changing room, bathrooms and disabled person facilities. Ancillary fittings include shaver points, and hand and hair dryers. Power points are provided for you own appliances.
Two launderettes including washing machines and dryers, plus irons and separate sinks for the dishes. Rotary clothes dryers are provided on site for your convenience.
We have a well stocked self service shop on site, open at Easter, Mayday, and from Spring bank holiday until mid September,catering for your everyday needs, from groceries to camping accessories, Calor Gas and Camping Gaz,etc.
Free use of the heated indoor/out door swimming pool and paddling pool is included (open from Easter until end September. The pools have a spacious patio area, and are fully equipped with sun loungers, taking in glorious views of Newquay Bay. Adjoining the pool, we have a large recreation area, together with a new 'Pirate Ship' adventure playground completely traffic free, where the children can play in safety. There is plenty of room for football, cricket etc. There is also a tennis court and a multi purpose court including a small skate boarding park.
We also have a separate amusement room equipped with pool tables, table football, video games etc. A television is available for all your favourite programmes.
For your privacy and security, entrance/exit barriers are installed with car number plate recognition for the duration of you stay allowing only people registered on site vehicle access.
