Ashley Events
Ashley Events was established in April 1998 as a subsidiary of Ashley Public Relations. It is run by Simon Abel, who has been involved in the events business throughout his working life. Simon has worked in a variety of roles:- at Glastonbury Festival; organising national conferences and setting up private and public celebrations for a wide range of people and organisations including Ambrosia, Plymouth City Council, Cornwall County Council, the Eden Project and Cornwall Women of Achievement Awards.
The founder
The founder of Ashley Public Relations & Events, Sue Wolstenholme, was one of the organisers at Elephant Arts, running festivals and other entertainments. She has since worked at a strategic management level with clients including Cornwall County Council, Amnesty International, British Telecom and Royal M
