Local Attractions

A few hundred yards from the Parkmore is Preston Hall Museum, with its beautiful ground and variety of birds and animals, the museum itself has a wealth of history. Also within a short drive is the wonderful Yorkshire Dales, with its rolling hills, and quaint villages. Whilst a bit closer to home, there is the historic town of Yarm. A pretty town with a cobbled high street, a good selction of shops and eateries. The list for the area is extensive.
