About Us

The Monaghan family have run The Royal Oak Hotel since 1978. This 18th Century rural hostelry is at the heart of the village. Original features include the beamed ceilings and welcoming log fires, and add to the charm and character of this traditional inn.

Restaurant

Dinner is served in the Restaurant & Bars every Evening with an A La Carte Menu The A La Carte has an excellent and varied choice with Seafood, Poultry, Various Meats and a good choice for Vegetarians. On a Friday and Saturday we also offer an excellent Also tonight which complements our A La Carte Menu. We aim to please and given sufficient notice we will prepare the Dish of your choice...We also have a private Dining Room upstairs for parties up to 30. This Room is suitable for anything from a Full Dinner to a Buffet Party, but is not suitable for Disco's or Dancing., Menu's are available for the private room on request.
