Peterborough is a city in Cambridgeshire that is based on the main East Coast railway line and in close proximity to major motorways. With a city centre that boasts excellent shopping facilities, Peterborough also has a range of attractions for the visitor. Its cathedral which dates back as far as 655 AD dominates the skyline over a city which boasts a superb museum and historic streets where ghost walks regularly take place to show the visitor the darker side of Peterborough. The city is also host to the massively popular Peterborough Festival which takes place over two weeks and is a constant source of community spirit and pride in the city.
