Beryl Forrest Saddlery & Rug Repairs

I've been a country saddler & making Made To Measure Hand Stitched (Best English Bespoke) Show Bridles since 1994 using only J & E Sedgwick's best Bridle Butt. I make Bespoke Headcollars & Leather Overlay Girths as well. I also Clean, Proof & Repair & Alter Rugs. My Dedicated Workshop is open to the public to provide a repair service for Saddles, Bridles, Headcollars etc., no job too small. "Bespoke Made to Measure Bridles". Bespoke Bridles can be individually tailor made to fit your horse using my Bridle Measurement Chart. Please see my website for more details Please note that as these bridles are not standard fit, they are individually made to your own specification and will not fit anything else, therefore they cannot be returned, so Please be accurate in your measuring, remember - measure 3 times - cut once! If you make a mistake and the part can be used for another order, i may be able to replace that particular part only. Payment is required before I can start work on any leather work. The Leather Overlay Girths are Anti chafing and have a very resilliant Memory foam Padding which is covered in extremely soft hide for supreme comfort, with a J&E Sedgwick's overlay for strength and durability.

I also provide top class products from the Net-Tex Genesis Range such as; "Itch Stop Salve Complete" for sweet-itch; "Pure Silk" - an excelent gooming aid & hair polish; "Winter Hoof" - provides a breathable, waterproof barrier to protect the hoof from damage caused by excess water; "Fly Repellent Advanced" lasts up to 3 days! To compliment my bridles, i supply "Original Leathercare" produced by J&E Sedgwick, which is made from the same Natural oils, fats & beeswax, that they use when Tanning their leather to produce super, strong, supple & beautiful Best Bridle Butt. Hormonise in 5ltr packs; for Moody Mares, Aggressive stallions, bolshy geldings & Bitchy Dogs. I have a selection of Used Saddlery items for sale, most of which are practically brand new, or in excellent condition.

Rug Cleaning & Repairs

Please note that all rugs must be cleaned before they can be repaired; "Health & Safety". I will happily give you a free quote to help you decide if it's worth while, to repair your rug, but you must ask for the quote Before the repairs have been carried out if you want one. It is NOT ACCEPTABLE to decide that the cost is too much AFTER the repairs have been carried out. Once you have left your rugs with me and given me you instructions for repair, you have entered into a contract to pay for the work done. Remember, it is your rug, tack etc., it is your decision if you want it repaired or throw it away! There is a useful chart on the website on the Rug Repairs page to help you work out a rough guide as to how much the repairs to your rug are likely to cost.

• Directions : From "The Horse Trust", formally the horses home of rest near RAF Naphill, follow Flowers Bottom Lane into the village of Speen, then turn Left into Studridge lane, Left again onto Moses Plat lane, follow it round the sharp left bend to the T junction of Moses Plat and Grubbins lane, immediately in front of you is Red House Farm and you will find me at the very back of the house down the right hand drive between the house and the stable yard, through the wooden picket fence.
