After 96 years our Conservation and Solander Boxes and Portfolios are still the first choice of archivists and conservationists worldwide. The Solander Box is the highest quality box available for the long term storage and protection for original prints, drawings, photographs and works of art. We supply the major conservators, galleries and museums throughout Europe.
Used extensively by National and County Record Offices in the U.K. and abroad for permanent archive storage. Versions available in acid-free board for sensitive documents (parchment, fabrics, artefacts etc) to give added long-term protection. Our sturdy boxes are also used extensively by Archaeological digs. We supply councils, universities, Government departments and major businesses. All sizes are made to the exact size to suit your storage requirement.
We specialise in many types of boxes to suit diverse requirements. These include designs for Presentation, Slip Cases for books, Home Storage for CD/DVDs and Magazines and many other types where something 'individual' is needed with tasteful (or striking) finishes using embossed papers or high quality bookcloth and PVC coated finishes. All can be debossed, foil blocked or screen printed.
