This excellent Chinese Restaurant is located at California Cross Roads in the leafy Berkshire village of Finchampstead. Under new Management since Nov 6th, with a refurbished interior, new Chef, & improved Menu; its well worth including in your itinerary if you are in the Wokingham area on Business or pleasure. My party of 9 visited the Chef Peking at Lunchtime on 13th November. The Service was attentive & discreet. We asked the Chef to provide a selection of dishes for our 3 Course Meal whilst accommodating our no Peanut / Pork request. Each dish was faultless & I am happy to recommend the Chef Peking's Sizzling Beef dish, one of the best examples I've tasted in ages ! Good value for money, friendly ambience, the only negative comment I have is regaring the 'interesting' view of the back of Restaurant from their rear car park - but don't let that put you off ! The Restaurant also offers a Take Away Menu for Telephone Orders.
