All Archway's traditional contracting equipment is manufactured to meet the quality standard BS EN74, includes built in safety and reliability features and offers one of the most cost efficient solutions to any access, protection and support problems. In addition to a vast stock of high quality traditional scaffolding materials we have a substantial holding of robust and well engineered Layher System scaffolding, providing the safest and most comprehensive solution.

Layher System scaffold and temporary roofing systems are more effective in many situations in meeting the requirements of the new British Standard BS EN 12811-1:2003 [Temporary Works Equipment - Part 1: Scaffolds - Performance Requirements and General Design] and also the interpretation of this by the NASC in its guidance booklet, TG20. Layher is an established German modular scaffolding system used across Europe and now fast gaining popularity in the UK. Its ingenious connector technology and greater rigidity has superseded conventional scaffolding in those situations where it can be used. It offers effective design solutions in the construction and refurbishment sector with savings on cost and time with no compromise to safety. In fact, the advanced guardrail system it features, which allows safer erection and dismantle, affords a remarkable improvement in the safety of the erectors.
