Background

Esmond Murray Architects has been established for 20 years. In 1995 the practice merged with the practice of the well known Bath architect Peter Buckler. The practice has been responsible for a wide range of projects from housing developments, new flats, swimming pools, tennis clubhouse, gymnasiums, listed buildings renovation and conversion, repair and alteration to churches, shopping developments, nurseries, commercial offices, interior design and one-off new houses.

Experience

The practice has completed projects in many parts of the country including London, Croydon, Birmingham, Liverpool, Cheltenham, Bristol, Cardiff and extensively in the South West. Projects have also been undertaken in Kuwait where we were responsible for the design of a leisure park and shopping centre in conjunction with a Kuwait consultancy and other UK specialist consultants.

  Esmond Murray Architects have been enormously helpful in turning our vision for our new home into a reality. Their designs have maximised our views across the Charlcombe Valley, and turned our undercrofts into a bright living space with direct access onto our garden. They encouraged us to take the bold step of making our living space (kitchen, dining room and sitting room) into one open-plan area, which now means we look across the whole of the valley from every room.
