Word of Mouth Training is based in London and can travel to any location in the UK. Our trainers are fully insured and hold membership of Signature, ALS (Association of Lipspeakers), BIVR (British Institute of Verbatim Reporters), and ATLA (Association of Teachers of Lipreading to Adults). WOM's director, Tina, is a graduate of the University of Ulster with dual honours in Business Studies and Japanese. She has been an accountant for many years with experience in the USA, Spain and Gibraltar. Tina trained as a teacher and trainer, specialising in lipreading (speechreading) and deaf awareness, enhanced by her personal experience of deafness and blindness. Tina's forensic lipreading skills have been honed for over 30 years, adding a unique element to a holistic understanding of hearing loss and the invisible barriers to communication.
