Founded in 1964, the W. H. Patterson Gallery has been at 19 Albemarle Street since that date. Originally specialising in 19th Century English and Continental paintings, over the past fifteen years the gallery has increasingly been exhibiting leading English contemporary painters. We are absolutely delighted to present this truly exceptional selection of talented artists to you - many of whom you will recognize and others whose new talent we are championing.
The return to traditional values in art is never more evident than in this catalogue and we celebrate the skill and expertise these artists possess to create captivating still lives and spectacular figure work. We build long term relationships with our artists and revel in the superb quality of their work. Paul S. Brown has been gracing the walls of W. H. Patterson since 1995 and has produced ten exquisite pieces for this exhibition.
