THE SESSION SCHOOL is based in Central London and our Make-Up and Hair courses run both Full-Time (Mondays - Fridays) or Part-Time (on Saturdays). WE ARE CURRENTLY RECEIVING APPLICATIONS FOR OUR 2010 COURSES! Places are LIMITED to a MAXIMUM of 10 students PER COURSE, so please do contact us as soon as possible, to secure a place on your selected Course! Places are offered on a first come first served basis as by limiting the number of places, we can ensure that students will receive very good, one to one training, advice and support. The Foundation Make-Up and Hair Courses are suitable for beginners (and anyone interested in becoming a Professional Make-Up Artist and/or Hairstylist), as well as those already in the industry who wish to further their skills. Our Courses cover all that is needed for a basic, creative understanding of Professional make-up artistry and/or Hairstyling Both our Foundation Make-up and Hairstyling Courses run from 10am - 6pm, for 11 consecutive weekdays (or 11 Saturdays) and the final weekend includes an exciting Professional photoshoot (with models), which our students take part in, to obtain their first photos of their make-up work for their portfolio. It is important that our courses run weekly, as well as at weekends, so they are easily accessible for anyone to attend, whether in full-time work, or already a student elsewhere. From time to time, THE SESSION SCHOOL invite visiting make-up artists and hair experts from various areas of the Artistry. They are invited to give informal demonstrations and lectures to the students, as it is important to offer a wide range of make-up styles to learn from. Classes are held BY APPOINTMENT only. Due to demand, The Session School now also offer PRIVATE MAKE-UP TUITION (2 hour consultations). These make-up lessons are suited to anyone interested in revamping their own make-up styles and you will be taken through colours & different textures of make-up that will compliment your individual skin. Each consultation is designed to provide you with new skills & techniques to achieve your own flawless make-up and you will be taken you through your own personal make-up bags, giving advise on what cosmetics & skincare products are best to keep - and what to let go of. You will also be taught the importance of hygiene and how long products should be kept before they can go off. In these sessions, you will be given advice on how to identify the best colours to suit your individual skin tones and also given suggestions of products that you may be interested in trying. All private consultations are provided on a completely one-to-one basis and these lessons last for 2 hours in the comfort of your own home (or another preferred location). You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire about what you wish to achieve from your lesson and we would expect to receive your questionnaires prior to the lesson; so your lesson is tailor made to suit you.
