I became first a counsellor, then psychotherapist in order to help alleviate suffering, and have been doing so for the past 18 years. I am an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor and counselling supervisor having qualified as a counsellor in 1991 and as a psychotherapist in 1999. I am accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy - UKCP - and have an MSc and Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. My experience includes working as a consultant supervisor to groups of counsellors working in prisons, and supervision of other therapists on an individual basis. I also teach trainee counsellors at Diploma level. In addition, I work with Employee Assistance Programme referrals and I have wide experience of working in the field of addiction.
