Its not everyday that you can buy a new oven so i had done some intensive research into which make/model/ functions it would do. Once my choice was finalised i then searched the web to find out where i could get it. Eventually coming to MyChoice.co.uk. (in hindsight it would certainly not be my choice!!!) So i purchased the oven through the website and everything seemed to go through ok. I received an email confirmation and in it this was the quote. "4 Oct 2013 10:38:09 Delivery of your order has been scheduled for Friday 11th October 2013. You will receive a text message the night before to your mobile and our team will call you on the morning of delivery to advise of a probable window." So i arranged a day off work to wait in to collect it. The night before, i never received any text message to tell me a delivery window, but i thought not to worry, they will call me in the morning to let me know a rough time. Next morning came...day of the delivery.....NO phone call...mmmm So i gave it till about 10am and decided to call them. I eventually got through and the telephone operator told me that she couldn't get hold of the delivery department but she would call me back ASAP to give me an update. So got till about 2pm, still no call back or oven for that matter. I decided to call again. Sure enough, they still couldn't get hold of the delivery department and said they would call back. So in fairness, they called me back at around 3pm to tell me there had been a mistake and the oven had not been put out for delivery. They assured me however that they could deliver it Saturday between 10am and 2pm. Great, Wasted day off work!!! Another day off work needed......grrr So waited in again and did some work on the front garden, just to make sure i didn't miss them. 1pm came so i thought i should ring. I was told that once again they couldn't get in touch with the delivery department and they would raise an issue at the so called head office (have you looked on google maps!!!) I asked if they could tell me what the hours where the delivery department worked on Saturdays, or if they could give me a tracking number, but alas, they are not allowed to divulge such confidential information!!. I was told however that the head office would call me first thing Monday morning. Monday morning came and went, by this point i was fuming. So i called AGAIN, and they managed to make contact with the delivery department...wow So i spoke politely to the delivery department and asked if they knew where my oven was, and had they realised they had failed on 90% of their agreement. To which they where very deffensive and told me that they had tried to make a delivery!!! At this point i had to sit down, I made it clear that there was no delivery attempted all day saturday, but as he was so determined he actually said, "Yes the driver tried to deliver to your property, your property has a white pvc door with brass fittings" I promptly replied, actually no, i have a wooden RED door with the number 28 on it. Cant your driver read a delivery note. (make your own conclusions on that). But no phone call from the driver or My choice!!! So i still have no oven, and you have my money. When am i getting my oven i asked. According to them, it would be delivered tuesday to my property. Well seeing as they failed miserably on all other attempts i didn't hold much hope, so asked them to deliver to my work address. Luckily it came and looks intact. I have still not received my free hotel accommodation which was meant to go with my order either so i don't hold much hope for that. So all in all, they have wasted 2 of my precious days holiday, a load of phone calls, time and stress, all for what... £20 saving. So whatever they put in reply to this review, it wont change the fact that the My Choice don't do as they say on the tin.
