Channel Islands

Channel Islands are a group of islands off the coast of Normandy in France. They are not officially part of the United Kingdom but are a crown dependency and are divided into two seperate bailiwicks, The Bailiwick Of Guernsey and The Bailiwick Of Jersey. These consist of the inhabited islands of Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm, Jethou, Brechou and Lihou. The uninhabited islands of Minquiers and Ecrehous are also classed as being included in the Channel Islands.
