The Verdo Hotel is situated just 2 minutes away from the promenade and the world famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach Theme Park which features over 100 rides and attractions. Local attractions nearby to the Verdo Hotel include Blackpool Pleasure Beach and of course The Tower at 518 feet tall with its famous ballroom, 100 year old circus pit and a brand new " Jungle Jims " interactive childrens play area. The Sandcastle Waterworld complex is also nearby and offers two white-knuckle water slides, the Master Blaster and The Sidewinder vertical drop slide along with many other water slides and attractions. There are a number of bars (including several "Family" bars) and restaurants, as well as two casinos within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Take Junction 32 off the M6 onto the M55. Follow the Signs for Blackpool, South Shore. Continue to the Roundabout at the end of the M55 and get into the Centre Lane. Continue straight on Yeadon Way, and at the Second Mini Roundabout turn right, signposted South Shore. Follow the tourist signs for the Pleasure Beach. Osborne Road is the 2nd turning left before the Pleasure Beach off the Promenade
