Cocken Lodge Golf Driving Range ~ Superb 9 Hole Golf Course and Driving Range.

Cocken Lodge Golf Driving Range is a purpose built 9 Hole Golf Course and Driving Range Situated on the outskirts of Durham City. We also provide coaching and lessons from our friendly resident professional who can teach you the best techniques and offer advice on selection of clubs, accessories, and your overall game (booking essential).

Cocken Lodge Golf Driving Range ~ 9 Holes of Challenging Golf

The course which was professionally designed and built, is mainly made up from a mix of par 3 and par 4 holes which is ideal to improve on your short game. The course has its fair share of sand traps and a selection of water hazards although quite challenging, it is also designed to help the beginners gain a good grounding in the art of golf. With a total length of 1469 yards and a par of 29 it is also a good course for those who find 18 holes just a bit tiring.A dress code applies,only to the course.Collared shirt,no football tops,no blue denim or vest tops smart but casual.

Our floodlit driving range is an ideal place to practice your swing before the challenge of the game. With a great selection of targets and nets to prime both your long and short game at any time up to 9pm. We now boast a fully automated range,we have recently installed POWER TEES.Range balls are teed up automaticallly. The driving range is also competetively priced at only £2-50 per 50 balls. After exerting yourself at either the driving range or on the 9 hole course you can relax with a drink in the licensed bar. Hot and cold drinks,and snacks are available too.
