Campbell & Kennedy.....

.....was first established in 1953 by Tom Kennedy and Robert Campbell the company was initially set up to carry out domestic TV and Radio works. The company developed in the sixties and business took off with the storms of 1968 and never looked back. The present Directors are Gerry Kennedy and Joe Kennedy but Tom Kennedy still operates as a consultant to the business. Gerry Kennedy is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who joined Joe as a partner when Tom Kennedy retired back in 1990. Gerry is now the firms Managing Director an in charge of a Contract Procurement together with Sales and Marketing. Gerry is also responsible for office administration and business planning and strategy. Joe has learned the trade thoroughly since joining the company in the late seventies and co-ordinates the labour force and ensures that the current fleet of 24 vans and over 50 engineers and staff run efficiently and smoothly. Joe prefers a "hands on" approach and will often give practical assistance to engineers in the more complex contracts when required. Stuart Leggat joined the company in October 2002 as senior contracts/ corporate services manager and now runs the firms fast developing IRS systems design and installation division. Stuart has experience of large system planning and is backed by Paul Kilgallon who also joined the company in October 2002. Paul is a senior engineer and will oversee day to day site project operations. The combination of Joe's solid practical experience of the industry and Stuart's technical background, together with Gerry's professional background makes a formidable team, which will see the company drive towards a successful future in an ever-changing market.

Commercial Services

The company has already completed an extensive range of commercial installation and service work. The main thrust of the business is the installation and upgrading of new and existing properties to Digital, together with installing Digital / Communal TV and Satellite Systems to Retail outlets, Offices, Bookmakers, Clubs, Pubs and Hotels and Caravan Parks. Contracts range from as small as ten outlets to several hundred outlets with complex distribution systems. Campbell & Kennedy Ltd are also contracted to carry out response maintenance work for various District Councils and Housing Associations and operate under an Accredited Sub Contract agreement to carry out Satellite installation work and servicing repairs for Sky In Home Service.

Domestic Services

The company carries out a wide range of installation and service work. The main thrust of the business is the installation and upgrading of new and existing properties to Digital. The company also acts as an independent installer for Sky digital and Digital Free to View terrestrial TV adapter boxes. Campbell & Kennedy Ltd have a sound 'Domestic Customer' base and retain a large Database on all private customers who have had successful TV aerial/Satellite repairs or servicing work carried out. The company offers a pick up and delivery service on all repair & servicing work. We pride ourselves on completing professional repairs at a price your annual budget can afford and we have a fully stocked and fully equipped workshop at Clydebank.
