Thought we'd done the right thing. We enquired with friend and neighbours regarding this company. All said they were OK. We spent over £6000 on a new CH installation in March 2010. We paid some of the cash up-front and the rest on the day they finished the installation. Over winter we have had boiler manufacturers out about 6 times. They eventually they sent a technician to see what the issue was. They said we needed a "hot flush" which should have been done during installation. We called the installer (Aymer McFarlane) between 8 and 12 times leaving messages each time in the space of 2 weeks. We thought “they installed it so we'll use them for the hot flush”. Never ever did they call us back. My wife even spoke to his wife and she said she would get him to call us –still nothing. In the end we had to spend another £200 on getting another company to do the hot flush as the boiler manufacturer refused to come back until it was done. We've still got problems with the system but are still angry and confused by the lack of response from Aymer McFarlane. I can only assume that the company feels guilty and can't face us. I am seriously considering legal action to get the cost of the hot flush back from them! Steer clear!
